Tandoori..hmmmm, the word itself is mouth watering.
This is how we did it. Tenderised chicken drumsticks with a meat tenderiser, poked and made tiny holes over the flesh with a fork and washed them with turmeric and salt water.
Prepared a puree with onions, tomato, cilantro, green chillies, ginger, garlic, gamram masala, lemon juice and salt. Mixed drumsticks with redchilli powder, turmeric, cloves, black peppper, yogurt and later poured the puree on top and let it marinate for about 3 hours.
Placed aluminuim foils around the leg ends of drumsticks and tossed them on a tray to go into the oven @ 365 degrees for about 45 minutes.
Once they were cooked and juicy to eat, garnished with onions, cilantro and curry leaves.
