Birthday Boy’s special treat.
I made this special dish for him – capsicum stuffed lamb keema biryani. All I needed was capsicum, minced lamb meat, rice, onion, tomato, mushroom, salt and cheese to taste. Prepared lamb biryani before hand. I started off by chopping the top portions of capsicum, removing membranes, scooping out seeds. Then soaked capsicums in salt water for a few minutes and later on stuffed lamb biryani into the cut capsicums and laid it over a bed of sauted onion-tomato-capsicum mix.
Topped it off with some generous amounts of cheese and poured marinara sauce over it and the dish was ready to go into the oven @ 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
This was how it looked as soon as I took it out from the oven, ready to be served and tasted & critiqued by him in his words “looks yummy for tummy”.
